(ESN Lithuania ) is a part of non-profit, European wide student organisation Erasmus Student Network, simply known as ESN. Organisation takes care of incoming international students and outgoing Lithuanian students for exchange programmes. Vision of the organisation reaches for the enrichment of society through international students while trying to implement the mission - provide opportunities for cultural understanding and self-development under the principle of SHS - Students Helping Students. Lithuania joined ESN in December, 2002 when the first university from Lithuania applied to become a member of ESN. ESN Lithuania was officially established in Lithuania with the association status under the name "Erasmus Studentų Tinklas ESN Lietuva" on the 8th of August, 2012. Currently there are 13 Sections working in 14 Higher Education Institutions in Lithuania.
